The 2026-27 competition schedules for both the Girls and Boys are finished and looking at them at a glance will build anticipation and excitement. Here are a few of the highlights:

The Girls schedule focuses on individual tournaments this season as dual meet opportunities were not available. Count them – Six individual tournaments where they will compete against a combined total of 153 teams with the Hopkins – Athena tournament with 53 teams being the marquee event. The Hutchinson – Buffalo Wild Wings Invite with 29 teams will also be a challenge that we think our girls are up for.

In addition to their tournament schedule, we are looking for the teams we host at home for dual meets on the Boys side to bring their girls with to round out their competition. Our girls will wrestle on 12 dates and it’s quite probable that they could have near or at 30 matches by the time we get to the State Qualifier: and improvement over last season.

For the Boys, we focused on making sure that we faced as many Section 4AA opponents in dual meets this year as possible. And our schedule opens the season on Dec 4th with a Quad against Mahtomedi, North, and St. Croix Lutheran.

All told, our boys will wrestle on 15 dates in 30 dual meets and two individual tournaments leading up to the Section tournaments.

Both our girls and boys will wrestle important competitions in December that will have State Qualifier seeding implications. They will need to put in early season work to make sure they are ready to face those opponents.
